Short version

Tariela uses the profile details you choose to provide to calculate personalized astrology, planetary hours, and requested Tarot interpretations. Before collecting profile fields, the extension shows an in-product disclosure and asks you to agree. The public website does not collect the extension profile.

Profile and local storage

The profile can include your selected language, name, birth date and time, birth place, current city, and the coordinates associated with those places. Necessary settings, the profile cache, generated daily content, allowance state, and subscription state may be kept in Chrome local storage. The profile is also stored in Tariela's Supabase backend so it remains connected to the active Tariela account and can support calculations and daily content.

City search and location

City search text is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim or Komoot Photon to return matching places. Device coordinates are requested only after you press “Use my location.” When you use that action, coordinates may be sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to identify the city. You can enter a city manually instead, and Tariela does not silently request fresh device coordinates on later popup opens.

Generated content and DeepSeek

Tariela uses DeepSeek as its AI provider. The name and derived astrology context needed for daily content may be sent to DeepSeek. When you request a Tarot interpretation, the selected cards, current profile context, and your question, if any, are sent through Tariela's Supabase backend to DeepSeek to generate the requested answer.

Tarot questions and answers

Tarot questions and generated answers are not stored as a conversation history or personal dossier. Tariela keeps a separate quota ledger without the question or answer so it can count delivered readings and prevent duplicate charges. Operational logs may contain an account identifier, request identifier, timestamps, model name, token counts, estimated cost, outcome, and security or rate-limit information, but not the Tarot question or generated answer.

Google sign-in

Google sign-in is used only when you request a personal Tarot interpretation and to connect the included readings or Premium entitlement to the correct account. It is not required to open the main astrology screen. Tariela's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Payments

Stripe processes checkout, payment methods, invoices, and subscription management. Tariela does not receive or store a full card number. Tariela stores the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, selected plan, subscription status, billing timestamps, and paid-through date needed to provide Premium access.

Retention and deletion

Removing the extension clears its browser-local data. To request deletion of a Tariela account and its profile, or to ask about payment data, email tariela.help@gmail.com. Security, fraud-prevention, transaction, and tax records may be retained where required by law or needed to resolve a dispute.

Service providers

Tariela uses Supabase for authentication, profile storage, backend functions, quota and subscription state; DeepSeek for requested generated content; OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Komoot Photon for place search and geocoding; Google for optional account sign-in; Stripe for payments and subscription management; and Vercel to host this public website.
