What is a planetary hour?
A traditional timing system divides local daylight and darkness into twelve parts each and assigns the parts to a repeating planetary order. Tariela presents that symbolism as a reflective layer, not as a guarantee about outcomes.
Is Tariela a website or a Chrome extension?
Tariela is a browser-first Chrome extension. This website explains the product and its method; the daily screen, hour view, cards, and interpretation live in the extension.
Why a browser extension instead of a phone app?
It lives exactly where a workday already happens: pinned beside the address bar, nothing new to download to a phone, no push notifications or streak mechanic pulling you back. See the full reasoning in this note.
Do I need a Google account?
The main astrology view is available after onboarding without a visible Google sign-in gate. Google sign-in is required when you ask Tariela to deliver a Tarot interpretation.
Do I need a credit card for the free readings?
No. The 15 included Tarot interpretations only require signing in with the Google account Chrome already uses. No payment method is requested unless you choose Premium.
Why does Tariela ask for birth time and location?
Those details support a more personal astrology experience and the location-aware planetary-hour calculation. The exact fields and handling are documented in Privacy and Permissions.
